PEPPERMILL RESTAURANT
The Peppermill Restaurant is no longer a restaurant but was situated on the Worthing Road in Dial Post. It is now a private residence renamed to The Staging House. The Peppermill Restaurant was run by Colin and Dee Morley for fourteen years and was also the home of two pot bellied pigs - Bella and Elmo. The restaurant had eighteen previous owners. In 1990, a competition was held to come up with a name for their first piglet. It raised £250 for Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton, Surrey. The winning name was Digby and as a mark of respect, the owners took pork of the menu for a while. Digby had over 100 piglets. The restaurant catered largely for weddings and had the catering contract at the Horsham Indoor Bowls Club.
