A24 Road Improvements for Dial Post
The A24 dual carriageway has been highlighted in the press recently for the many accidents within the Dial Post stretch of road. Plans have been shown to the residents of Dial Post from WSP and West Sussex County Council as to the prefered road layouts. Two options are suggested for Dial Post. One option is to have a middle entrance to the east of Dial Post and the other is to have a grade seperated junction to the northern end of Dial Post. Response to these options has been varied and when the final decision is made, the new layout should be in place by 2006. Amended plans have been submitted for discussion amongst the residents, parish council and businesses around the area. At present no decissions have been made to which plan will be used.
